Conflict Resolution Skills for
Christian Leaders Workshop
Fill in the gaps for what you didn’t
learn in seminary…
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Every Christian Leader has to deal with conflict, but sadly your seminary degree did not prepare you for all the conflict you face day to day in your current role.
We want to help.
As our society becomes more polarized, it is imperative for Christian leaders to serve as role models in how to address conflict in ways that honor God.
It is equally imperative they learn how to impart those skills to the people they lead.
In this interactive and entertaining workshop you will learn:
A guiding theology of conflict.
The 7 communication styles & when to use them.
How to express yourself in a more complete, organized, & concise manner.
How to constructively manage your emotions & expressions even when discussions become tense.
How to de-escalate and refocus conversations that have become too heated and unproductive.
Proactive listening skills that can help you understand other people’s perspectives, emotions, and desires.
To help unskilled communicators become better by modeling how you listen and interact with them.
How to improve your ability to empathize with and care for others with whom you disagree.
How to make an effective apology.
How to express concerns & appropriately confront others by speaking the truth in love.
How to repair & restore peace to broken relationships
Learn the skills and how to teach them to others.
Conflict is inevitable in life. We hope you leave this course equipped and encouraged on how to handle life’s tougher conversations.
