Young Life Ministry
Strategy Training

Below are 5 Ministry Strategy Training videos led by Brian Summerall to Young Life Staff in 2015. We wanted to make them available to anyone that might find the content helpful and encouraging. If you have additional questions, reach out to katy@thetblc.com.

You can find additional resources at the link below!

Session 1

Ownership, vision, and contact work... that's what the Young Life Ministry Strategy is about. It's giving kids a reputation to grow into while inviting them to participate in what God is doing in their school.

Session 2

In this session, we'll look at what happens on the first day of school, the "whys" of club, and how God uses the little things.

Session 3

In this session, we will look at keeping club going throughout the fall as you look to engage more kids. We'll also discuss the purpose of music, skits, and games along with taking inventory of who's coming to club and how to reach out to those who aren't.

Session 4

Ownership, vision, and contact work... that's what the Young Life Ministry Strategy is about. It applies not only to club, but to camp as well. In this session, we'll look at engaging our kids in helping their friend go to camp along with looking at the benefits of a 4-6 year camping strategy

Session 5

In this session, we will take a look at an event (Mr. Christmas Tree) that combines ownership, vision & contact work to give leaders ownership of their own class or group of kids.
